Dorothy M. Bowers, 92, of Confluence, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 in Eicher's Family Home, Normalville. She was born September 17, 1921 in Rogers Mill, Fayette Co., a daughter of John and Olive (Hull) Henry. Her parents, husband, Roy C. Bowers and a daughter, Bernice preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Roberts and husband, Richard, Normalville and a son, Anthony Bowers and wife, Barbara, Confluence; grandchildren, Robin Klocek and husband, Phillip, Nashville, TN, Shawn Roberts and wife, Jennifer, Normalville, Jason Bowers and wife, Dana and Jared Bowers, all of Ursina; great grandchildren, Malachi and Kiannah Klocek, Brittney and Matthew Roberts, Anna and Meghan Bowers and Luke and Lee Bowers; sister, Emma Florence Jones, Fairchance, and a brother, Robert Henry and wife, Faye Jeanne, West Mifflin. Dorothy was a member of the United Community Church of God and WCSC in Ursina and Ursina American Legion Post 946 Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held at 11 Am Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the United Community Church of God with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment in Normalville Cemetery. There will be no viewing at the church. The family suggests memorial contributions to the United Community Church of God, 405 Park St., Confluence, PA 15424.
