Deanna L. Shafer, 55, Confluence, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born December 1, 1969 in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late Artie N. and Laura Mae (Silbaugh) Sarver. She is survived by her husband, William; son, Ryan (Jessie), Confluence; daughter, Renee Johnson (Steve Stilley), Berlin; grandchildren, Landon Stilley and Rayna and Larissa Shafer; brothers, Daniel (Sharon), Michael and Randy Sarver (Melanie), all of Confluence and Charles Sproul, Jr. (Dinger), Hopwood; and sisters, Kathy Bolyard, Ursina and Pamela Shimitko (Stanley), Belle Vernon. Friends will be received from 2-6 PM Friday at the funeral home, where a service will follow the viewing at 6 PM with Pastor Terry Collins officiating.
