David C. Tressler, 70, Confluence, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born October 25, 1946 in Confluence, a son of the late George Tressler and Viola (Anderson) Tressler Hyatt. He is survived by two sons, Jerry and wife, Penny, Sheffield Lake, OH and Kelly, Sheffield Twp., OH; brother, Ronald Tressler and wife, Joyce, Confluence; sisters, Barbara Mitchell and husband, Dan, Fayetteville, NC and Maxine Shipley, Ohio, Beverly Rose, Butler and Patty Michelsen, New York. Dave was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School Class of 1965. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a life member of Confluence V. F. W. Post 7250 and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Assoc. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 30 years employment. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
