Clark L. "Newt" Wilburn, 87, Ursina, passed away peacefully, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at his home. He was born September 11, 1936 in Grantsville, MD, a son of Elmer and Ada (Fazenbaker) Wilburn. His parents, wife Betty E. (Heinbaugh), daughter Bernadine Saylor, granddaughter Tammy Wilburn, grandson Burly "Pete" Saylor, and daughter-in-law Vanessa Wilburn preceded him in death. Newt is survived by daughter Tina Wilburn, Meyersdale; sons Clark Jr. and wife Susan, Central City, Troy and wife Deborah, Fort Hill, and Bruce, Confluence; sister Ruth Walters; brother Eugene; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and a beloved dog Sparky. Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, followed by a funeral service at 7:00, with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating.
