Christa Lea Nace, 66, Confluence, passed away along with her husband, Byron, on Friday, February 28, 2025 at their home. She was born April 5, 1958 in Meyersdale, a daughter of Betty Ann (Donald) Housel of Lonaconing, MD and the late John R. Housel. In addition to her husband and father, she was predeceased by daughters, Kristy Lyn Nace and Anna Marie Armstrong. Surviving are her mother, daughters, Emily Spears (Dale), Meyersdale and Nellie Jacob (Dan), Cairnbrook, grandchildren, Tanner Armstrong, Evie and Milo Jacob and a sister, Lynn Housel (fiancé, Michael Frye), Salisbury. Christa was a graduate of Salisbury High School Class of 1976. She was a generous person, who looked forward to visits from her sister, friends and family. She loved her animals and often spoke of her special dogs, Ralph and Cleo. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a joint service for she and Byron will be held at 11 AM  Thursday with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating.
