Cecil L. Bowser, 87, Fort Hill, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his home. He was born October 13, 1936 in the Cove, Garrett Co., MD, a son of Rufus and Elizabeth (Getterman) Bowser. His parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Zimmerman), 4 nephews and 2 nieces. Cecil was a graduate of Northern (MD) High School, a veteran of the US Army and retired from Deer Valley YMCA Camp after 25 years employment. There will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1 PM in the Silbaugh Cemetery with Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating.
