Carol L. (Sechler) Sarver, 61, of Fort Hill passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in Somerset Hospital. She was born August 4, 1955 in Confluence, a daughter of the late Melvin and Cleabel (McClintock) Sechler. She is survived by her husband, Daniel R. Sarver; brother, Dean Sechler, Fort Hill; sisters, Patsy Nicklow and husband, Brian, Rockwood, Cathy Bender and husband, Terry, Fort Hill and Lorie Sechler, Fort Hill; also, nieces and nephews. Carol was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley High School Class of 1973 and a member of the Addison Vol. Fire Dept. Auxiliary and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Club. She was a volunteer for numerous civic organizations. She loved travelling and her pets. She was employed at Somerset Trust Co. in Confluence and worked in the banking sector for 42 years. Friends will be received from 2-8 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Saturday with her brother-in-law, Rev. Clifford Sarver officiating. Interment in Addison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Addison Vol. Fire Dept.
