Buddy L. Gibbs-Jenkins, 76, Ursina, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 in Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born December 21, 1942 in Friendsville, Maryland, a son of Myrtle Irene (Jenkins) Wilson, Markleysburg and the late Glenn Gibbs. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Marie Wilson, brothers, Robert Wilson and James Wilson and a sister, Eva Jane Wilson. He is survived by his mother, wife, Priscilla (Zinn) Jenkins, daughters, Tillie Cochran and husband, Charles, Meyersdale and Cathy Olinzock and husband, Jarrad, Markleysburg; 10 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; brothers, Rick Gibbs and wife, Tracy and Walter Wilson and wife, Sandra, all of Farmington; also, mother-in-law, Matilda Zinn, Confluence and numerous nieces and nephews. Bud was a member of the United Community Church of God in Ursina and a retired truck driver. Friends will be received from 12 Noon until 4 PM Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will follow at 4 o'clock with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Private interment in Brown Cemetery, Elliottsville.
