Betty J. Silbaugh, 93, Addison, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at her home. She was born June 18, 1929 in Addison Twp., a daughter of Troy and Geneva (Mimna) Glass. Her parents, husband, Paul and sisters, Nancy Reichenbecher and Gladys Glass preceded her in death. She is survived by sons, David and wife, Debbie, Confluence and Stephen and wife, Gina, Hurricane, WV and a daughter Jean Silbaugh, Addison; Two grandchildren Sara Silbaugh, Addison and Troy Silbaugh, Hurricane and a brother, John William Glass, Addison. Betty was a graduate of Confluence High School, a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and "Tuesday Workers", Addison and a member of the former Confluence Women's Civics Club, for which she was the historian for 27 years. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 PM in the St. John's Lutheran Church in Addison with interment to follow in Addison Cemetery.
