Bernice R. Snyder, 87, Confluence, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at her home. She was born May 31, 1938 in Confluence, a daughter of Earl J. and Reba (Firestone) Peters Rush. Her parents, husband, Jan, step father, Thomas Rush and daughter-in-law, Diane Snyder preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Vance, Meyersdale and daughters, Chris Ann Wilson (Randy), Markleysburg, Rhonda Riesco, Confluence and Tara Blankenship, Austin, TX; 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and sisters, Garnet Dennis (Dean) Markleysburg and Audrey Close (Randall), Somerset. She was a graduate of Turkeyfoot Valley Area High School Class of 1956 and served over the years on the TVAHS School Board of Directors, Confluence Borough Council and Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250 Ladies Auxiliary. At Bernice's request, there will be no viewing or funeral service at this time. Interment in Addison Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Interim Hospice for the kind and loving care during their mother's final days.
