Barry R. Woods, 67, Confluence, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 27, 1949 in Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., a son of Smith W. and Mildred (Metheney) Woods. His parents, brother, Fred, sister, Robin Fazenbaker and grandchildren, Brandon Elliott and Richard A. Parnell preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Judith (Meyers), daughters, Erin King and husband, Bradley, Rockwood, Cindy Vena and husband, Barry, Meyersdale, Gale Parnell and husband, Richard, Ursina; son, Randy Rosenberger and wife, Cindy, Confluence; grandchildren, Abbye and Lukas King, Amy Kemp, Tiffany Nicholson, Dennis Butler, Jr., Adam and Aubrey Parnell; great grandchildren, Karlie and Kameron Kemp, Blake, Bryce and Tessa Nicholson, Alexandria, Paige and Taylar Butler and Adam Parnell, Jr.; brothers, Paul Woods and wife, Patsy and Terry Woods and wife, Koni, all of Ursina, Ray "Brother Meade" Woods and wife, Rhonda, Fort Hill and sister, Sandra Koontz, Lexington, Ohio. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and his "baby", his dog, Daisy May. Barry served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250. He loved to hunt and fish. Friends will be received from 11 AM – 1 PM, the hour of service on Saturday, at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence. Rev Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. Interment in Old Bethel Cemetery.
