Barbara E. Nicklow, 97, Fort Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at Meadow View Nursing Center, Berlin. She was born February 22, 1929, the daughter of Allen and Marie (Wiltrout) Becket. Her parents, husband, Harry, son, Darrell, brother, Donald Becket and a sister, Dolores Matthews preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Edward, Summersville, WV; grandsons, Jonathan, Jason and Travis Nicklow; great grandchildren, Luke, Bailey and Alivia and her daughter-in-law, Linda Nicklow, Tyrone. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Hill. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where a service will be held at 11 AM Friday with Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Church Cemetery. There will be viewing one hour prior to the service on Friday.
