Arthur E. "Yuck" Miller, 95, formerly of Fort Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in Goodwill Retirement Community, Grantsville, Maryland. He was born March 10, 1919 in Fort Hill, a son of James and Florence (Beachy) Miller. His parents, sisters, Elsie Miller and Clara Lytle, brothers, Carl "Mike", Robert, and Edison Miller and nephew, Roger Phillippi preceded him in death. He is survived by nieces, Rose Hall, Kathy Parnell and Kimberly Fish and nephews, Ed and Mick Miller; also, a number of great nieces and nephews. Arthur at one time worked for the State Highway Dept. (now PennDOT) and cut timber. He enjoyed playing the guitar, gardening and hunting. There will be no viewing or visitation. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Silbaugh Cemetery.
