Andrew M. Vogel, 29, of Fort Hill, passed away December 30, 2014 at his home. He was born September 2, 1985 in Meyersdale, a son of Edwin Vogel of Fort Hill and Nancy (Kelley) Vogel of Pottstown. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three daughters; Kaitlyn and her mother Samantha Spittal, Laurel and Aleeah and their mother Kayla Griffith all of Confluence; brothers, Edwin Vogel, Jr. and wife, Angela, Meyersdale and Roger L. Vogel, Cumberland, MD; sisters, Rebecca Lindeman and husband, Martin, Somerset, Elizabeth Younkin and Lon Murray, Confluence, Jennifer Vogel and Dennis Brown, Normalville and Carol Shroyer, Confluence; stepmother Linda Vogel and numerous nieces and nephews. Andy was a member of Laborer's Union Local 1058 of Pittsburgh. He loved his children, the outdoors and racing cars. Friends will be received from 1-7 PM Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence where a memorial service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Dean Hay, Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers a trust fund for his daughters has been established at Somerset Trust Co., 612 Logan Place, Confluence, PA 15424.
